This beautiful limestone rock house was built in 1866 by one of the stonemasons that helped build the Vereins Kirche at Marketplatz. Only one-half block from Main Street, with off-street parking. four luxurious suites are offered…….one downstairs and three upstairs. All are tastefully decorated with antique furniture, quality linens and accents. The suites all have their own special personality.
THE PRESIDENTIAL SUITE - is the only downstairs suite and has three elegant rooms. The downstairs porch leads you into this intriguing suite. The bedroom is encircled with the original limestone rock walls and an iron king bed. Deep green curtains with gold touches are beautifully matched to the comforter and pillows topping the bed. Two sofas (one is queen sleeper), and armchairs in the parlor are arranged to enjoy the TV/VCR (in the armoire) or while listening to music from the CD/tape player. In a small closet under the stairway is a coffee bar with a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. The romantic bath has an oversize French Jacuzzi. There is also a large shower.
SUITE MEMORIES - is upstairs on the right. This two room suite is accented with turquoise and deep green intonations offering warmth and coziness. A wicker queen bed is handsomely dressed with exquisite bed coverings in rich, deep colors. The TV/VCR can be enjoyed from the bed or armchair.. A table for two is placed by the window.
VERDE SUITE - The Verde Suite is the smallest of the four suites and is located at the end of the hall upstairs. A queen white iron teaster bed is decked with verde green and brown accents. The walls and accents are a beautiful soft green. The bed is arranged to enjoy the TV/VCR.
SUNSHINE SUITE - is upstairs to the left. This large two room suite is elegantly decorated with soft yellow walls above the exposed rock. There is a queen sleigh bed topped with subdued, neutral greens and yellows. A cozy table is decorated both with an elegant and creative touch. The TV/VCR is placed enjoy from the bed or the comfy loveseat and chair.
All suites have a coffeebar with small refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker. The upstairs suites are invited to relax on the upstairs porch. Private baths have Jacuzzi tubs/showers.
