The first location selected had a “garden” view, hence the name, but it became too small and a larger area was secured for the opening. The shop has grown five times its original size and now is owned solely by Meg Peterson Burdick.

One block from downtown Fredericksburg, this 1930’s lodging is spacious and offers an elegant simplicity with a spacious dining room filled with exquisite antiques is open to the living room. There are three bedrooms in the house and a cottage behind the house.

We are source for a complete line of Fly Fishing goodies including free Fishing Maps and custom hand tied flies for local rivers and leases. We give expert fly casting and tieing lessons to alllevels of fishermen wanting to perfect their technique.
